I am Samuel Bravo, currently preparing for entrance exams to journalism schools at Université Paul Valéry in Montpellier.

My background has been shaped by image, writing, and an understanding of the world. I studied at the University of Perpignan Via Domitia, where I obtained a professional degree in media professions (journalism, audiovisual production, and photojournalism), after completing a BTS in Communication at Lycée Aristide Maillol in Perpignan.

These experiences allowed me to explore different forms of storytelling, between audiovisual production, journalistic writing, and photographic work, while building a versatile approach to media.

Photography plays a central role in my practice. It allows me to document my travels, but above all to observe my surroundings, capture moments, and highlight elements that are sometimes subtle yet meaningful. It is a form of visual testimony, intuitive and spontaneous.

Writing, as a complement, offers me a different relationship to reality. It allows me to structure thought, deepen subjects, and provide context to the events I observe. It is a tool for analysis and perspective, essential to my practice.

Passionate about music, sport, and nature, I develop a perspective driven by curiosity and attention to detail. These worlds nourish my work and influence the way I approach fieldwork, stories, and people.

My goal is to become a journalist specializing in music or sport. More broadly, I aim to engage in a form of storytelling of reality, where images and words complement each other to narrate, convey, and shed light.
